User Testing

Prepared vertical slices of the game, orgainised students and teachers, conducted testing and focus groups, reported results, actioned them into tasks based on feedback.

Refined the shooting mechanic, drop rates, play area size with primary target audience (children 9-11).

Contributions
Major Challenges:

Dual finger shooting mechanic on hand-held device.

Rotation of character in space while shooting rapidly on different angles.

Challenge escalation, and maintaining visual consistency.

Each device required different balancing (as screen size would change the play area, this in turn required refinement of game speed, NPC spawning, and drop rates).
