Designed game

  • Fusion of the concepts of food-fight festivals and mobile endless runners.

  • Movement mechanics, festivals, locations and obstacles.

  • Bonus' and incorporation of educational content.

Producer for the team

User Testing

  • Prepared vertical slices of the game, orgainised students and teachers, conducted testing and focus groups, reported results, actioned them into tasks based on feedback.

  • Refined the shooting mechanic, drop rates, play area size with primary target audience (children 9-11).

  • Responsible for balancing across different devices.

Contributions

Major Challenges:

  • Dual finger shooting mechanic on hand-held device.

  • Rotation of character in space while shooting rapidly on different angles.

  • Challenge escalation, and maintaining visual consistency.

  • Each device required different balancing (as screen size would change the play area, this in turn required refinement of game speed, NPC spawning, and drop rates).

Major Success:

  • Overcoming all listed challenges.

  • Completed on time and budget.
